Welcome to Rajasthanbahai.com, the complete information portal about Baha'i fatih and the religion.

The Baha'i Faith is an independent world religion. It is not eclectic, syncretic, an offshoot of Islam, a sect of any other religion, nor does it claim to derive its inspiration from the sacred books of other faiths. Its founder, Baha'u'llah, asserts that his message is a revelation direct from GOD, at the same time making it clear that He, the human vehicle of such a revelation, is "Never to be identified with.... The Essence of Divinity itself". The baha'i faith has its own sacred scriptures, its own laws, its own administrative institutions, its own laws, its own holy places - The most sacred of which are situated in the Holy land on and near Mount Carmel, Israel. The Baha'i faith believes in prayer, the immortality of the soul and the necessity for man to live in obedience to the laws of GOD as stated by his messenger in each dispensation.

Principal Teachings:

In words of Shoghi Effendi (Grand Grand Son of Baha'u'llah and a Scholar himself): "The fundamental principle enunciated by Baha'u'llah, the followers of His Faith firmly believe, is that religious truth is not absolute but relative, that Divine Revelation is a continuous and progressive process, that all the great religions of the world are divine in origion, that their basic principles are in complete harmony. That their aims and purposes are one and the same, that their functions are complementary, that they differ only in the non-essential aspects of their doctrines, and that their missions represent successive stages in the spiritual evolution of human society...."
